1. Videos of people falling or people falling in real life (as long as they're okay after)
2. Adele (I'm still trying to be her best friend or her nanny)
3. John Krasinski (and everything he has ever starred in)
4. Chick-fil-a Ice Cream (it's called an "IceDream Cone" for a reason people)
5. And according to my friend Katy, "singing while making weird faces" (honestly, she's so right)
I read a tweet the other day that said, "I'm a die hard fan of my friends." And I was like "OMG CAN I RETWEET THIS A MILLION TIMES?!?!?! I LOVE THIS SO MUCH." So that minor (or major) freakout inspired me to write this blog post.
When I was at camp a couple of weeks ago I heard the verse John 15:15 where Jesus says, "I have called you friends". The word "friends" just stuck out to me like a sore thumb (tbh: I've never really understood that sore thumb analogy but I'm using it anyways). I was sitting in a circle of people that I called my FRIENDS. And I was sitting with them and feeling like I had just won the lottery. That feeling of winning the lottery doesn't just happen at camp, but every single time I'm with the people that God has blessed me with to call my FRIENDS (is anyone tallying how many times I've said "friends" so far? yikes, sorry). I sat there feeling in awe of my friends. I've always known that my friends are rockstars, beauty queens and seriously leaders of the world (or at least they should be) but hearing that that night made me just obsessed with my friends on a whole new level. These people I have the privilege of calling my friends get me through life. Each and every one of them has a million beautiful traits and teaches me a MILLION different things about life. I'm forever in debt to Jesus and my friends, both past and present friends, for blessing me beyond belief. These people make me laugh uncontrollably, tell me when I'm being dramatic, sing along at the top of their lungs with me, and love me fully (even when I'm grumpy, sassy, tired, hungry or a combination of all of the above). They are my confidants, my biggest encouragers, my prank pals, my inspirations, my jam out buddies, my village. I wouldn't be anywhere or the person I am without my friends. They have gotten me through the hardest days and rejoice with me on my biggest (and smallest) victories. They are the most beautiful, joyful, compassionate, loving, silly and wonderful people on the planet earth. So I'm electing them to be president of the United States and every other country as well as raising all of my children. I'm a die hard fan of all of them (and yes I am crying while typing this post so that's real). Thank you for rocking my world and for making me better. My love for you is greater than my love for ice cream.
Sincerely,
Me
(p.s.-although I may not post a picture with every single one of my friends-both past and present-if I've said "you're my queen" or "you do you boo boo" or "i love you" to you, than you're my friend and i truly love you)
